FEEDBACK: Forgiveness column still touches heart

To the editor:

It has been over a year and a half since I read your column about forgiveness at Emanuel Church in Charleston (I just read it again). You are one of the few who seem to acknowledge the greatness of what happened there. The difference in what happened in Charleston and what happened in other places after similar atrocities is incredible. It continues to return to my mind to the point that I want to visit that church.

I seldom have reason to be in Charleston, but my wife and I have made it a goal in 2018 to go to Charleston and attend a church service. Again, thank you for your article, and your acknowledgement of what the relatives did.
